Reset

As we step into a new year, we're invited to embrace the powerful concept of a spiritual reset—a chance to throw off old patterns and put on new life in Christ. Drawing from Ephesians 4:22-24, this message challenges us to move beyond vague hopes for improvement and get specific about what needs to change. Just as our phones and computers sometimes need a hard reset to function properly, our lives require intentional recalibration. The beauty of the gospel is that God's mercies are new every morning, and we're never too far gone for His grace. We're encouraged to take four practical steps: ask God for help, be specific about what needs changing, surround ourselves with supportive people, and cut the clutter from our lives. The scripture from Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 reminds us that we're not meant to journey alone—a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. Whether we're struggling with finances, relationships, health, or hidden sins, this is our moment to stop living in denial and honestly evaluate ourselves as Romans 12 instructs. The call isn't just about making resolutions; it's about allowing the Spirit to renew our thoughts and attitudes, creating lasting transformation that glorifies God throughout the year ahead.
